Amber True is a recent graduate of the Massage Therapy Program at Roane State. She has been trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Lyposassge, and Bamboo Fusion among many other modalities. Amber believes that massage therapy should be a healing experience. She believes that not only can massage relieve physical aches and pains, but is also healing for the soul. It is important that each client leaves their appointment feeling relaxed, renewed, and rejuvenated. Your session will be tailored to your needs and will always include aromatherapy and hydrotherapy in every service.

Amber’s mission is to provide client-centered, intuitive, and holistic care through massage therapy that will bring relaxation, help with stress management, pain relief and overall wellness. Amber is committed to serving her community and clients by offering a personalized and nurturing experience that enhances their overall well-being.

Amber is also a certified Level 3 Reiki Practitioner, and an INELDA trained End of life Doula.

60 minute session includes 45 min of Reiki

followed by a 10 minute wrap up which includes tea, a

review of the energy session, and post work review for client.

End of Life Doula Services

End-of-life doulas provide companionship, comfort, and support to those facing a terminal illness or death. Using non-medical holistic support that encompasses emotional, spiritual, and practical care. I offer resources to help the dying person, along with their family and loved ones, make informed decisions in a supportive environment.

As an End of Life Doula, I assist in the following:

• Providing the opportunity to speak openly and frankly about dying
• Talking about creating an advance care directive
• Exploring the meaning of the dying person’s life and legacy
• Discussion concerning support end-of-life care planning
• Developing a plan for how the space looks, feels and sounds
• Incorporating traditions or create new rituals to mark special moments
• Encouragement toward appropriate ways of touching the dying person
• Bringing a focused and intuitive presence to the bedside
• Assisting with physical and practical care to ease the burden on caregivers
• Providing respite for exhausted caregivers
• Explaining the signs and symptoms of the dying process
• Assitistance in processing the emotions and experiences with loved ones
• Support for the spiritual practices of all involved
• Guiding people through the early stages of grieving
